Been hearing Untitled 3 by Sigur Ros on TV a lot lately. Was used in a ton of sports broadcasts the last month or so anyway.

I think the show was called "die 2 - nieuwe koeien" or something (means "those 2 - new cows")
(old news is sometimes referred to as old cows in Dutch).

The show was about soccer and they had an item where they made soccer players recite sensitive poetry (about soccer) with shine on you crazy diamond playing in the bacground.

Now that's messed up!
Thanks !! Your topics always so good and informative. I like you talk.

Similarly, there was a car ad using Gabriel's "Solisbury Hill" a couple of years ago (here in North America...)

Just saw the Norwegian film "Kongen av Bastøy" (The King of Bastøy) for the first time, and what did I hear snippets of several times during the film and at the end credits?

Yes, you heard right! Sigur Ros - Untitled #1 (Vaka).

Another VW spot with a prog tune - this time somebody's cover of "Lucky Man":

(Can anyone identify the artist?)
