This band is really good, you should suggest it for addition in the PA database. More extensive sampling would be needed for that, though.
Just a curiosity, how is this band Greek if all the band member names are Italian? And the label seems to be Italian, too. |

Hi Harmonium.ro
the main members of the band are Greek, I mentioned the Italian guys involved because Yugen and DFA are quite known in the prog world but the band is totally Greek. www.myspace.com/ciccada As producer I tried to involve musicians I know well and works well on this music so I chosen some Italian guys. Yes the label is Italian but as I made with AltrOck I try to produce good music it doesn't matter if it's Italian or not. thank you for your interest ciao!! Marcello |

I found this to be compelling music with very original style. 'An Endless Sea' features strong piano and acoustics, lovely gentle high vocals. There are symphonic nuances and some quirky time signatures. It is uplifting music but darkened by sudden outbursts of guitar heavy riffs. The textures of light and dark, of tension and release are excellent augmenting the atmosphere. The guitar work and violin are enhanced with flute passages. The lead guitar trills are great. It focuses on mainly instrumental work. That flute is so nice amidst a sea of guitar and crashing drum fills. The piano is lonely at the end with a violin or cello as accompaniment. I liked it a lot.
