I would like to suggest that Guild Navigators be added to the Space Rock Prog archives as a listing. Anyone interested in hearing Guild Navigators go to  www.myspace.com/guildnavigators    or www.myspace.com/guildnavigators2. different samples on both sites are available. In my oppinion the Guild straddle several genres such as Progressive rock, Punk , psychedelic and experimental. Space/ Sci - fi themes are  key to a real space rock band. That is clearly evident in the Guild. Please listen at myspace, and last fm. Guild Navigators also are on a split CD with Jet Jaguar who are also a well known space rock band but not listed on this site.

Quick checking their samples and I've felt they may be fit for Space Rock genre (a borderline case IMO), but any official releases (not compilation with another artist) they have?

If they've released none, we cannot add them in Progarchives library.

Apparently they've released a full compilation (2001), an album split (2008) and an EP (2004), that qualifies them for addition 100%.

Checking the music right now...

I don't like the music much and I don't find it very progressive but it's one for the Psych/Space Team indeed... Keishiro, will you take it? Smile

Oh, they have a compilation ... got it.
Their Comp or EP may be not a glass-pressed CD but CD-R, though.

Well I'm gonna take'em home ... into Mushroom House ... LOL

Thanks.

space rock in a wider sense, often provided with a punk and doom attitude, way beyond Hawkwind's heaviness, hence a tough case
some garage rocking songs, but also interesting, more accessible material (at least for me) - I especially like 'Armada of the Golden Horde'
sci-fi themes, all in all there is an experimental attitude for sure

So it looks as if some folks are believing in the Guild as a space rock band? So how does a band get the final admittance to this prestigious club?
