I just had to go with Night Watch; Fripp's prettiest guitar solo by far

I'm going to say Trio, but it could just as well be The Night Watch. Trio got a young Sigur Rós fanatic interested in KC some sevenish years ago starting one prog journey.

Great album all around even though Fracture completely steals the show for me. Incidentally it's also my all-time favorite composition...or improv!

Fracture for the win! It's just so funky and heavy at the same time, how could anybody resist it?

One of my favorite Crimson albums...went for Great Deceiver.. I love the beginning, the beat and rhythm is intense...and also since everyone will go with fracture

Tough one, since I rather enjoy everything except Lament. For the purposes of this exercise, I voted for The Night Watch.

Its a completely different piece; basically just an improv.

The Night Watch, one of the few KC tracks I like, despite that bloody guitar solo. It may be influenced by my admiration for Rembrandt's amazing painting.

Tough call between The Great Deciever, Fracture, and Starless And Bible Black.
I'll give the vote to SABB for the atmosphere. This track actually clicked for me on The Night Watch album, but once it did I couldn't stop listening to it.

The Night Watch - great song, great solo and a pretty decent painting!

GREAT album! So underrated, probably my favorite from the Wetton-era.
Lament is my favorite track, just love how it drastically changes.
