There's no such thing as a prog pop song. There are pop songs by prog bands. I like many. Too many to mention.

I simply don't believe how much sh*t Your Own Special Way gets. It's such a gorgeous, lush pop song, but people still point to it as the fissure that showed the way to the future cracks of Genesis. To me, no way - YOSW and Follow You, Follow Me are two of the best love songs Genesis ever produced.
For me, the best prog-pop song will always be Whiter Shade of Pale - Brooker's organ playing is so underrated.
