There's no such thing as a prog pop song. There are pop songs by prog bands. I like many. Too many to mention.

Hooks in you.

If Van Halen had done it, it would have sold zillions. But Van Halen couldn't have done it. Rothery gives a master class in playing hard rock guitar.

I'd suggest "People" by King Crimson, it was amazing live!

Great songs A, but Lucky Man as pop? Ok, great pop then!

From the Beginning -  a song written by Greg Lake and performed by ELP. It was released on their 1972 album Trilogy.

Just the Same by Gentle Giant sounds kinda poppy to me, so I'll take that haha

I simply don't believe how much sh*t Your Own Special Way gets.  It's such a gorgeous, lush pop song, but people still point to it as the fissure that showed the way to the future cracks of Genesis.  To me, no way - YOSW and Follow You, Follow Me are two of the best love songs Genesis ever produced.

For me, the best prog-pop song will always be Whiter Shade of Pale - Brooker's organ playing is so underrated.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
