They are quite underrated, but Crime of the Century is without a doubt their best

Supertramp will always have a special place in my heart as long as Crime of the Century remains in existence

The problem is they are all so bloody brilliant. Even in the Quietest Moments edges it for me only for Davies superb Downstream.
I think their best individual tracks were ' Crime of the Century" and " Child of Vision"

Yep again, followed by a quiet moment.

For decades I liked Crime... as Supertramp's best ever album, with "Moments.." as next great one. Plus - " Brother Where You Bound " -a bit different, but really their proggest one. It's nice to see, that I am not alone in such opinion, always was wonder why "Breakfast In America" is so high placed (ok, it's most commercial and commercially successful their work).

I have heard Crime of the Century too often in the 70's, I fear. It is a good album, but my vote goes to Even in the Quietest Moments. The absence of Brother Where You Bound in this list makes my choice the easier.

I go for the non-obvious choice, Breakfast. It's a remarkable piece of work.

Can you tell me where we're headin'? Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

Crime of the Century is amazing. Im not a big fan of Breakfast in America which seems to be there biggest hit because it was amazingly poppy.

Crime of the Century, of course.
But I think too that Supertramp is underrated. They're not as proggy as others, but their music is a kind of avant-garde.
