Topic: Question: David Byrne and Peter Gabriel together? Posted: July 02 2010 at 12:34 |
Im a huge fan of both and in a sense they are, to me, similar in their criativity in vocals, compositions and, obvious, for their world music. So, id like to know: Has they ever work together? (concerts, collaborations etc)

I don't think so, but it could be interesting. The latest Byrne/Eno was a bit disappointing.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Byrne has covered I Don't Remember as part of the Scratch My Back series, but I don't think that they have ever recorded together. Incidentally, there is an artist called Peter Gabriel Byrne

If they collaborated, I'd buy it. I can't picture it, though.

Unless Fripp acted as a fulcrum.

That would make for an interesting yaoi pairing.
Just imagine: a guy with aspergers hooking up with a guy with bipolar disorder. It would be like "The Odd Couple " that should be institutionalized..
