Legions The Palace  Demos   http://legionsthepalace.bandcamp.com/album/demos  (name your price)

a psychedelic prog EP by Nevada based quartette.
beautiful singing, smart songwriting and an excellent work of guitar, bass and drums make the Demos very charming and show how talented and promising is this band from Nevada desert. sounds like The Mars Volta and Omar Rodriguez - Lopez.
favourite track: Endless Shawl

Modern post-punk/ darkwave. Reminiscent of the earlier work of The Cure, The Sound, and The Chameleons. Download is free. Expecting to record and release a full length LP new year.

Balkhara  Dustblow   http://music.balkhara.com/album/dustbowl

don't be fooled with nice singing in English. this is Balkan. a land of dreams, a fragrant oriental flower between good and evil, created by different gods. as trough a hard-carved doors, this Bulgarian band brings to us a hot spicy Balkans' prog folk with a pleasant garden-like acoustic guitars passages mixed with heavy riffs that are dark like a snowstorm shrouded Balkan mountain.
sounds like: Aura+
favourite track: Kiss of Dead Man

Arktis/Air   En-Trance    http://arktisair.bandcamp.com/album/en-trance

highlights of this LP by Wien's avant-prog 6-man band ("a homogenous orchestra" as they describe themselfs) are the very moments when jazzy groove is to replace with a minimalistic music. then we hear the improvisations and noises from a theatre of dreams where Coltrane meets King Crimson.
favourite track: Filter

After   Life    http://afterishere.bandcamp.com/album/life

Los Angeles based alt.rock / progressive rock trio hardened in West Hollywod venues such as The Troubadour, The Roxy Theater and The Viper Room. with two released albums, with a lead guitar that emits lovely Les Paul tones supported with badass rhythm section, with platinium producer Barrett Yeretsian and solid fan base behind them, the trio is on the road to much greater success.
favourite track: Through the Mayhem

heavy prog trio from Miami. Crazy guitar solos, psychedelic vocals and funky bass are there to enrich this uranium-like debut album.

Hi Aaron, great stuff. I love the 3 bands you mentioned. The cover strongly reminds of The Cure's 'Faith'.

Chris Robison  Manchild    http://chrisrobison.bandcamp.com/album/manchild

very nice rio from New York City. on this album you can hear a fine artistry in performing music on that multitude of rock'n'roll a la The Stones, punk, ballads, early prog a la The Beatles and more. i suggest listening to the album in its entirety, from the first to the last of these beautiful and humorous songs.
favourite track: Brother So Kind
