a psychedelic prog EP by Nevada based quartette.
beautiful singing, smart songwriting and an excellent work of guitar, bass and drums make the Demos very charming and show how talented and promising is this band from Nevada desert. sounds like The Mars Volta and Omar Rodriguez - Lopez.
favourite track: Endless Shawl

This band is pretty good! They will benefit from a high quality production recording, but I can see so much in potential in what they are doing!

Johnny O'Donnell & Sacramento    Magic Soup    http://hurricanemusic.bandcamp.com/album/magic-soup-

voila! a nice crossover prog soup, the Los Angeles style, is ready for you! great drumming and bass lines cooked with exciting keys and guitars, & with brilliant vocals on top of it, makes this soup very delicious - a magic soup as the chief said.

Turtleboy   Log Cabin   http://turtleboymusic.bandcamp.com/album/log-cabin

here's an eclectic prog little masterpiece created by an international trio (Brooklyn, Toronto, Berlin). a very original cocktail of progressive rock, jazz, dream pop, ambiental and electronic music, & nice vocals.
for the lovers of Canterbury aesthetic.

Daniel Cabrera   Progresania    http://danielcabrera1.bandcamp.com/album/progresan-a

Spanish artist has tried, with limited resources of home production (his voice, guitars, piano, synthesizer, a drum kit), to make his own trubute to 70s prog. however, the artist's talent is magnificent and the result is this brilliant prog folk album; as well as an evidence that even with limited resources, a talented and gifted artist can make it great. this full-lenght debut is an amazing mix of rock, classical music, Spanish traditional folk, and even jazz in the vein of Egberto Gismonti; with all of that, the artist takes us back to the sounds and flavours of medieval Spain, and also in 70s prog heydays.

Alek Darson    Panopticon     http://alekdarson.bandcamp.com/album/panopticon  (name your price)

a majestically composed prog metal EP by the member of Serbian band Organized Chaos. the Berklee enrolled guitarist drives his girl Puffy (he loves to give the names to his guitars) into the madness of fusion-like soundscapes where that virtuosity will send her scream to cosmos. physical CD available.

AMT   s/t EP    http://amt-officiel.bandcamp.com/album/amt-ep

heavy prog EP from Paris. gracefully singing in French, neatly variations of guitar sounds, solid rhythm section and an urban gloomy atmosphere, that it puts an image of this Parisian band which is very interresting and promptly send their debut EP in must-be-heard category of contemporary prog. physical CD available.

after full-lenght debut album released in 2011, this EP is the second release of Polish post metal act. the music is moving from bright daydreaming piano to well expressed metal, with metaphysical and existentialistic lyrics.

The Perfect Band   Definition   http://theperfectband.bandcamp.com/album/definition

another gem from the rich art scene of Portland, Oregon. that's really a handsome concept album that it contains a wonderful collection of art rock songs with an introspective poetry and skilled guitar solos. for the lovers of Big Star.

The End of Science   The Voice Upon The Waters    http://theendofscience.com/album/the-voice-upon-the-waters  (name your price)

avant prog album from California. a moody atmosphere of classical sound of strings, piano and innocent female voice that suddenly becomes turned into unbridled postrocky crescendo; actually, it's just one of many magical qualities of this epic album. i labeled the album as avant, but the album will also appeal to the fans of maximum inventive post rock as well.  audiophile quality 200gm vinyl LP is available.
