Why, because the info is in Spanish? Or... Too busy? Just do your best and it will be in sooner. PM me when you've done as much as you can, and I'll add the band for you. Post it here too, since someone else might see it sooner and be able to add it for you (in case I'm away).

Sorry, but if can't you help much with the bio/ addition because your research has turned up too little (if that is the reason you're saying why you can't help much), then we're in much the same position (unless you think there's some reason why we would have more luck with our research). Preparing an addition is usually the responsibility of the suggester, yes it takes time and effort, and I expect you know it as well as we do (more perhaps). If you can send an original (written by you) bio to me based on what info you can find, then it will be added very soon after (perhaps they know enough English that you could contact them to request a bio if you can't find enough info to create bio).  The more you help, the faster it will be. And then I would PM you after adding it so that you can add the album.

Actually, even though it is in Spanish, there is even enough info at myspace to create a bio in your own words.  Online translators have become much better if you don't know Spanish to get the gyst

This is what google translate did with the myspace bio:

In early 1994 in the city of Concepcion, was developing a vibrant cultural life, there were several musical groups, which realized a very strong structure and radical interpretation. The musical panorama that appeared in those years, revolved around the interpretation of experience already created, but there were also local efforts to create an own distinct musical identity through the composition. Creativity becomes the search for new musical experiences openings in which the musicians that would later become part of cangaceiro others were not. In this way, and according to their different experiences, these musicians are found in the creative moment in the diverse fusion gives way to interpretation. For this new group, which goes from 1997 to become cangaceiro, it is important to re-discover the contemporary musical creations concerning Chileans. So there is an opportunity to realize the musical composition based experience in the West Indian African rhythmic lines which evolve into the trends of jazz and rock. In this context, the Banda Cangaceiro develops a job that allows you to introduce in most scenarios Concepción, sharing the stage with bands like Moncada Cuban group that visited our city, penquista Jaivas in the show "Rock to the south of world "to name a few, and the realization of a first independent board which is called" The Piper Worm "(2003), which summarizes the musical ideas, creative and interpretative of the Band of the South Rim. In 2005 for the second time in the 8th wonder annual concert, this time he made a CD and a DVD of the event. At the end of this year gets a 2nd place among 500 participants of the contest "chile strips, whose final phase took place in the local" The baton "in Santiago. Cangaceiro Today the doors are released his second album, the result of new compositions and some arrangements of compositions that were unable to register on the first disc. ....

Though not always thought a good idea, but I pad with my descriptions of the music (though reviews serve that purpose), what bands its similar to according to my ears, and what styles of music are on display.

I see you posted this before: http://blogs.myspace.com/mylodonrecords (though in Spanish, an online translator helps)..

Thanks for the good suggestion, and all help is greatly appreciated.

The Eclectic team is not checking this.

^ Thanks.  I brought it to the Eclectic team and voted yes based on the music.  Hope you don't mind me bringing it to them before mentioning it to the Folk team or JRF, but it seems better-suited to Eclectic to me based on my listening.
