Hey guys, this lovely song from Il Cerchio D'Oro makes me smile, even though it's quite confusing! Gentle synths, lovely placid verses but then LOUD CHORUS VOCALS!! It was the b-side to one of their disco songs, definately better than the A side `Funky Dream' (even though it is nicely played)!

Kind of a romantic bunch aren't they? I like it Micheal. Really want to check out their latest that you just reviewed. I hear the Mandolin makes an appearance? Love that tiny guitar!

Pierre, I love how even that article is titled `Another prog fake'?!

If anyone in the Den here is interested, I was able to interview 70's Italian band Il Cerchio D'Oro recently, and I've posted the results in the Interview section here:

^ Some really sweet melodies on the GIUSTO PIO album above.  The song by Flea you posted was excellent, love how it goes off into a rather fusion sound in the middle then back to the soulful melody.

While looking through the RPI page of PA top 100, trying to figure out which album to get next, I noticed that Jim (Finnforest) is no longer on the current RPI team.
How un-observant of me not to notice this sooner, if it has not been mentioned earlier, Thank You Jim for your time on the team!  Your perfect response to my inquiry about RPI when I first wandered into the den were key to what has turned into a love for this genre...ClapClapClap.  Hope all is well!

I noticed that, but I couldn't believe it. Hope you're well too, Jim.

Sorry but HOLY sh*t! I knew the band's name was used for other albums but actually didn't include anyone from the original line up, even the Monteduro album included only two members. The album appears here on PA with a low rating but I haven't paid any attention to it since I thought it wasn't the original band anymore.
What a jam!! Great find frenchy!!
I'll try and look for a cheaper copy...

Sag, you must know that this is more a pop rock album than the Monteduro album which had hints of prog..

Hey there you guys!

Just wrote a review for Distillerie Di Malto - Il Manuale dei Piccoli Discorsi. So I thought why not include a video to let you know what I'm talking about. Enjoy...
