I've shot a couple of different versions of Goblin in concert ...
If there's any interest and I can figure out how to do it I could post a few?

This would be cool! I'm pretty happy with my most recent purchase being the first Goblin's that I happen to know: "Il Fantastico Viaggio Del Bagarozzo Mark"! - man this album is awesome indeed, a "fantastico viaggio anche per me." Smile And another prove for me that such a genuine prog is usual when it comes to RPI! Wink

That's his daughter in the background

Great pix, WS! I hope you nagged them for keyboard "lessons," just so you could watch them play!

Hey what a cool photos you shot WS, and the first one is pure art! - btw his beautiful daughter looks like a classical ballerine, I would like very much to know which was that piece she was dancing to, thanks for the pix.

it may have been Suspiria ..

she danced to a few pieces - and came out as a Zombie and attacked the band for "L'alba Dei Morti Viventi""

Not sure on the exact details yet, but keyboard player Joe Vescovi has died. He is mostly known for his involvement with The Trip, Dik Dik, Acqua Fragile and Paolo Siani.

R.I.P, will go hunting for some of this playing in my collection later on.

Yes agree, that was a great shot WS!  Good eye.

What kind of camera did you use?  I would be disappointed if you say a smartphone...LOL

no :)

I shoot with a Nikon D700 and a Nikon D300 (my backup camera)

I use a 24-70 2.8 on the D700 for the wider shots and the 70-200 2.8 on the D300 for the close-ups

usually set the iso around 2000 (or faster if possible) depending on how well the band is lit

I love the Garamond Album! Sadly the band broke up during the recordings
for a second Album.

Yes that Garamond album is not well known, but really cool stuff.  The Avant fans should eat it up.
