I always loved that Genfuoco album Pierre. I'm not sure how many people have noticed, but a few seconds before the first side ends a few lines from the Israeli anthem is spoken in Hebrew, man how weird is that??

I love Nuova Idea.

Hero sound very Krautrock to me, but being a Kraut so that's not a bad thing.

Although I like Opus Avantra (and Avant stuff in generall) I think that Lord Cromwell is just
meaningless piano noddeling with really awfull vocals

Yeah Guys, these four albums chosen at random are a new proof of the surprising diversity of RPI.

I also like Nuova Idea. I got Clowns first and then went backwards and got Mr. E. Jones and
In The Beginning. I haven't gotten into the first one yet.
I have some Finisterre arriving on Tuesday. I liked everything I heard on YouTube.

Bologna-based trio Feat. Esserelą have just been added to Jazz-Rock/Fusion. Check them out if you already haven't! Their album is on Progstreaming, and I have selected it as my recommendation for the next edition of Something for the Weekend? (to be published on Wednesday). On their FB page there is also an exciting announcement: in October they will be opening for Deus Ex Machina (back on stage after an 8-year hiatus) at La Casa di Alex in Milan.

Yes the .folk part was dropped again. The new Album seems to be rather short but very much
in the same direction as the last one.

Two weeks to go for the BAROCK PROJECT release SKYLINE.
But a stream of enthusiastic comments and private reviews are mounting...
Will it really be a 4.80 stars as it seems now?
I have listened to it for 4 months now, and I believe it is a FULL 5 stars :-)

Yes, except for the Portuguese vocals Tongue Did you know Banda do Casaco's frontman sings on that album? I also really like the great female vocals of Lena d'Įgua... who became a Pop star in the 80's Tongue It made me think that I didn't know any RPI music with female vocals besides some Il Tempio Delle Clessidre tracks, until I randomly listened to Apoteosi's only album today. It's incredible Clap

Do you know this one, Samuel ? Almost Italian.

Little is known about this mysterious group, whose only good album often changed hands for incredible prices before people started to realise it's not a real Italian 70's rarity. Even the year of recording is uncertain. Some say it is from 1974-75, and for this reason it's included here, but it seems more likely that it came out in the second half of the 80's or early 90's.
The album was printed in Canada with a German producer, the music is good organ and mellotron-led prog sung in Italian with a strong foreign accent and often incomprehensible lyrics: this is almost certainly a foreign group, probably Japanese, playing under fake Italian names, and even the incredibly high number of errors in the cover notes and lyrics confirms this impression.
