^^

For me the highlight of fake records: A band pretending to be Italian (most likley from Japan) released on a bootleg lable pretending to be from Japan (they are either from the US or Germany)

Someone suggests any group?

That's a lot of mystery! It's good but the lack of information makes it more interesting LOL

Opinions on this one, the `second' Biglietto per L'Inferno album:

BIGLIETTO PER L'INFERNO - Il Tempo Della Semina

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=169

Is it a real `second album'? I know it was never completed, so is this more a compilation of the recording sessions? The sound quality varies from each track, but I can't help but feel there was real potential here! The first is such a classic vintage Italian album, one of my personal favourites, so it's not fair to compare it!

Please offer your thoughts

Michael, I think it is overall a good to mediocare album. Except from the muddy sound the album has that unfinished feeling no doubt about it, it's like they were all outtakes from sessions. I agree that it's certaily shows great potential and I wish they had worked on it more.
But at least some of these songs were rerecorded by the band and given remarkable versions on their last album Tra L´assurdo E La Ragione which is highly recommended to all you fans.

They also rerecorded two tracks from that album on their new one "Viva Lotta Pensa".
(the title track and La Canzone Del Padre)

Best voted italian band of the year in the Progressive Rock Symphonic segment.
They sing in English, their dimension flows way out Italy's state lines.
They welcome in the new release SKYLINE the father of Italian Rock Progressivo Sinfonico (mr.Vittorio De Scalzi) and mr.Paul Whitehead (need I mention his works and who with? ;) )
Take a peek, they are the Barock Project. best kept secret in modern production...but now I am afraid it's too late!

I've listening to this album a few days ago and I realized I can't remember it was mentioned here.

Guercia - Guercia Figura Goffa

I'm always intrigued to find new albums from the 70's but good albums from the 80's sometimes fascinates me even more. This is a great album released in 82', and once you've got passed the 80's drums sounds you're in for a treat! There's some really tasty guitar playing here and overall the material is really good.
Kind of reminds me of an Italian version of Amenophis.

So does anybody know this little obscure gem?

Here's a sample
