Purgatorio is a good album, close to Paradiso, but miles away from Inferno though.
The new PFM will be out in Spring 2017.

Other 70's bands working on an album:
Il Rovescio della Medaglia's is allready out
Le Orme and Banco will have new albums in 2017

Semiramis might record an album, but that's not really clear.
Locanda delle Fate announced new releases (whatever that means) (most likely live stuff from their farewell tour)

Alvaro Fella (Jumbo) has a new album out backed by C.A.P.
(also Jumbo reformed, so let's see what comes out of that)

Oh, some disappointing news...this was just posted on the Mad Fellaz Facebook page a couple of hours ago:

"Salve a tutti da oggi Anna Farronato non fa più parte dei Mad Fellaz...sono cose che capitano!!!"

"Hello to all from today Anna Farronato is no longer part of the Mad Fellaz... these things happen!!!"

A bit of a shame...not only did they recently announce they were putting out that second album with her on double vinyl very soon (with some extra live tracks), but I was literally coming around to the idea that the second album might just be one of the most electrifying, exciting and unpredictabe albums of the year, Italian or otherwise.

Very sad indeed, she was perfect on a perfect album...

Excellent album Pierre! A must for 70's RPI fans.

As I don't usually go for modern RPI albums (like you), their come back album is actually very very good!

Although I purchase albums across the entire Progressive Rock spectrum on a limited budget,  I have a special weakness for Italian.   My favorite since 2000 is Logos.

Are there any Italian albums since 2000 that you Italianphilicians love more than Logos?

I also like the "new" one as I do like Samadhi (a splinter band of RRR).

You should at least consider some new RPI as e.g. this one

Excellent music, for sure Thumbs Up if you like progressive rock. Most of my friends hate that prog music, but they adored the old RRR album.

A very valid pledge, but I would go for La Torre del' Alchimista, Egonon, Ingranaggi della Valle
or Gran Turismo Veloce first.

A very valid pledge as well! How about the incredible Goblin Rebirth , the 2 Ad Maiora albums, La Curva di Lesmo, Nathan and Sezione Frenante?
