I love Orme's Collage, the place where all begins for the band.

There is a japanese cd on ebay with an autograph. Nice.

I'm pretty much caught up with bands I know from the seventies and will continue getting into old and new
bands that I didn't know about before.
I'll be sure to listen to Collage as soon as I get into this recent stack of CDs.
I'm also anxious to hear the Sensations' Fix compilation with different versions of some songs and some
previously unreleased material. Fragments Of Light was the first Italian import album that I bought in the 70s.

It's a great SF compil, Gary. Their Portable Madness is a absolute masterpiece for me.

Yes it is, Pierre. It was my second Italian album purchased.
Synthesizers were becoming more common but I couldn't really find anything that I liked and was ready to
give up. Then a friend at my local record store recommended Fragments Of Light and I was hooked.
The combined sound of synth and guitar and the flowing compositions made me an immediate fan.
On my next visit I bought Portable Madness and eventually added Finest Finger and even Naso Freddo.

I don't think that portable madness exists on CD. But there are those interesting compilations of cardboard sleeve Cds, with remastered sound.

Hello Pierre. Many of my recent purchases are Italian imports and several are in cardboard sleeves.
At first I didn't care for the sleeves but I'm used to them now. Most are gate fold with a booklet and
an insert and a lot of artwork.
Yesterday I received L'Uovo Di Colombo. It's a 2011 Korean reissue imported by BTF and is a limited
edition of 200 copies.
I'm listening to it now and the sound quality is excellent.

Yeah. This album sounds great. The first track is a killer. If I had to make dance somebody with RPI, I would start with this :

I followed your link to Confusional Quartet and listened to a few songs including
Futurfunk and Manifest'o.
I could imagine their music being played at a rave club.

Yeah, but the other tracks don't belong to the same album. The good one is available here :

^ Thanks H!

The link for Maschera di Cera doesn't work--I went to the musicraiser site and tried to search to no avail.

What is Lynch?

Back in February Andrea posted on his blog a band called Bornidol. I just got their new album, and if you like blazing Hammond heavy with soaring synths, you've got to get this!

^^ Ah thanks, I misread the post as Maschera di Cera, and so the searches wouldn't have worked!

Sounds great! I really love Anamorfosi and L'Alveare. Does anyone know if L'Alveare was ever released on CD?
