Looking forward to watching Inglorius Basterds. i just ordered the blu-ray a few days ago seen as how you don't seem to be able to rent it at Love Film.

Pulp Fiction. His best jigsaw puzzle ever. The most entertaining of all of his films. Every time you watch it to the end, you come to new conclusions, you understand more.
I don't see anything special about "The Inglorious Basterds", though.

Of course Pulp Fiction is THE masterpiece, but recently i have watched inglorious basterds several times and it is superb, i'm posting a sample of one of my favorite moments, so funny.

I know that there's not much originality these days and my guess...is that Tarantino does it to make a point or poke fun...but all his movies are like, blatant parody or homage to past. I get it's purposely campy...just not my thing.
People have admitted this, big time fans usually nod and say "Yes" and "if you're not a movie buff it's harder to like him since you don't get the context and etc" Not my cup o tea is all. Guess I don't get it
There were some pretty sweet scenes from Pulp Fiction and Rez Dogs.
Really? I thought Waltz was f**king brilliant. Part of what made the movie for me.

By disgusting, do you mean in the context of graphic content such as gore, themes, etc? You probably haven't seen Reservoir Dogs then. In terms of graphic content, Pulp Fiction is nothing compared to Reservoir Dogs. Reservoir Dogs might be the most violent, non-horror movie I've seen.
I found Waltz's character pretty annoying. Unfortunately, I don't remember any comic scenes in this movie.
It's not a comedy but certainly have some funny moments, like the one i have posted, americans posing as italians with the worst ridiculous accent ever. About Waltz's performance, it was simply stunning, he was my favorite character which is strange regarding my origins, certainly deserved his awards.
Yeah...to each their own but I gotta agree, not sure how anyone can think Waltz wasn't brilliant. I also found the movie pretty humorous...it's just not outright, it's in that Tarantino "you laugh because it's so purposely awkward" style
