As the title says, I'm suggesting The Claudia Quintet for Jazz rock/Fusion.  They play interesting, complex jazzy music with (in my opinion, at least) enough rock influence to consider them a worthwhile entry to the hallowed halls of PA.  They're formed by drummer John Hollenbeck, and here are a few samples:

I could also maybe see them fit for Avant, but that would be more of a stretch than JR/F I think.

Seems like a lot of people thought that...I've checked though, and unless I missed it somehow they're not.

Surprised to see they're not here... They're signed to Cuneiform Records, and, from what I know, they are very highly regarded in prog circles.
