Welcome to PA, guys. The music sounds good... well done melodic rock with classic prog moments. I'm asking the Crossover Team to evaluate the band for addition to PA.

Hi from Czech Republic (Pilsen), I'll be probably the one, who will handle this suggestions, so

díky za návrh. Abych pravdu řekl, nikdy jsem o Jiném Světle neslyšel, ale taky neznám vše, že. Poslechnu myspace, uvidíme. Zatím prosím vydrž.

^ Oh, sorry Trevor. Just one minor suggestion: Click on upper right side of your post and change topic name to Different Light (now it's Diiferent Light, spelling error).

I said that never heard about your band, sadly. Listening samples from myspace and thinking about the music right now.

From myspace samples, I (being part of Crossover Team) think that:
A life in a day - If something, then Neo Prog song (especially because of keyboards), on the verge of Rock and Prog
The Breaking - soft Crossover song, not so Prog - it's problem with these calm songs, they can fit anywhere
The Eyelid Movie Show - sounds more like 80s Neo Prog,
Educating Jesus - Neo Prog
The Cause of Our Fall - The first song that I feel like Crossover.

In the Grey - Funny enough, the pace of this song again reminds me Neo Prog (Shadowland - Ring of Roses, especially The Whistleblower, or The Jigsaw)

So my vote would be "MOVE" to Neo Prog because of similarity with Neo Prog I know.

I will listen new samples, probably tomorrow, I'm tired now (I had long distance trip)

You can watch progress on voting here:

http://progfreak.com/Different-Light,_dbe,artists,_auto_1646162.xhtml?path=pa/recent

However, with majority of Neo-Prog team unavailable at the moment, you'll probably have to wait some time. My personal estimate is few weeks.

Just that you'll know.

...instead, Different Light ended up in Crossover. Artist page created, band picture and albums/album info still lacking. Guess they'll show up in due time though :-)
