Very difficult, but CC because it has multiple bone-chilling parts, whereas the "I get up" is a single feel.
But both are the height of prog tinglies.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Carpet Crawlers, no doubt. I Get Up, I Get Down never did it for me.

Like I said both are superb, but I think I'll give it to Yes since Anderson's vocals plus Rick's keys, it slightly beats the spine-chilling Gabriel performance.

I vote "I Get Up" ... I like The Carpet Crawlers but not as much as everyone else seems to. Whereas, "I Get Up" is my favorite part of Close to the Edge.

I know these so well that I can't really choose.
I don't think I was moved as much as you by either, though. |

It would be in good standing if it could stand up as a stand alone song, but I can't stand that it doesn't stand up as a stand alone song. Or does it stand up as a stand alone song? Take the stand "I Get Up I Get Down" can you stand the scrutiny?

Even though I consider Genesis a better band Carpet Crawl is not one of their top songs for me so i went with I Get Up I get Down

Carpet Crawlers. It is a great stand alone song. "I get up I get down" is a great section of a great song, but for me doesn't stand up as a stand alone song.
