I discovered this band on another thread about maudlin of the Well-like bands. Well, they are not maudlin´s copy, they are an entirely entity of their own... and holy f**k, are they good! I downloaded Blessed are the bonds from their homepage and am very impressed. I love the cello, the piano, the atmospheres, the in your face weird heavy riffs... I´m inlove with this bands music! And they need all the attention they rightfully deserve!

SO LET´S TALK ABOUT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
"You want me to play what, Robert?"

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this band, truly amazing stuff. Blessed Are The Bonds is a stunning album, and their debut (Nouvea: A Theater Of Air) is HIGHLY recommended to anyone who likes beautiful proggy hardcore - not very similar to Blessed, but brilliant none the less.

Great band for sure

Out the door to work now, but yes, Blessed is an amazing album, hard to box in.  Dark, mysterious, yet many passages are uplifting.  Brooding might be a better word than "dark."  Anything with piano gets off to a good start with me, then the cello, and finally the roar!!  Big smile

I've never seen that album anywhere, where did you get it?

Blessed are the Bonds may very well be one of my top 10 albums of all time, its simply astonishing how great it is, I cant wait to hear how their third album turns out.

A fan from the UK emailed me the MP3's a while back, after I asked if anyone knew where I could get it on their last.fm page.

You can hear most of it on Youtube:
