Robert, this song is second most voted in this poll. It's not as overlooked as you may think :-) I like it personally. Better than Timetable :- P

To me Horizons is an essential part of Supper's Ready. I can't understand why it was listed as a separate track.
The four tracks on side one already add up to a great album. Then add the greatest track of all time. Song for song this is probably the greatest album ever.
It's not my favourite album however - DSOTM, The Lamb, Close to the Edge, Caravanserai, Saucerful of Secrets and Sticky Fingers all have a cohesiveness that puts them ahead as albums IMO.

Did'nt vote......the poll would have been easier if it was called 'what's your least favourite Genesis song from Foxtrot'.
It's hard to vote for your favourite when you like them all, equally.

Supper's Ready is "the obvious choice", but since it's Get 'Em Out By Friday is one of my favourite Genesis songs, and doesn't get enough attention in my opinion, I'll go with it.

When there is a discussion of Genesis, this song is often overlooked in favor of several other songs. Also, the band never did it on any live albums that I know of.

My friends, don´t be angry but I must go against the tide again. Supper´s ready seems to me as one of the weakest songs of Foxtrot, coz it´s too expatiative and not cohesive at all for me.

I think it is so obvious Supper's Ready wins this. If you omit it from the list it will be probably more interesting...

1. Supper's Ready
2. Watcher Of The Skies 3. Get 'Em Out By Friday 4. Can-Utility And The Coasliners 5. Time Table 6. Horizons
2, 3, and 4 are actually interchangeable though.

Three way tie between Watcher of the Skies, Get 'Em Out By Friday, and Supper's Ready so I voted for the one with the least amount of votes.

Horizons and Supper's Ready. Went with the former because it's one of the most beautiful tunes in the Genesis catalog.

Hard to believe anyone would vote "Time Table" over such classics, that's probably my least favourite Genesis song in the time between Trespass and "Me And Virgil". .... but! Different tastes and opinions are what make the world go 'round. I went with "Can-Utility" because it deserves so much more attention than it gets, in most circles anyway. It's getting some love here which is nice to see.
