Remove all modern "artists" and keep it full bands that actually stood for progress.

I don't care of top anything. I use the list just to see if there's any artist who I don't know and may be of interest.

Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

I can't say a definitive list, both because I'm not positive and because I don't feel like spending the time, but one thing I would love to do is limit the top 100 to one album per band.

I would dislike that.

I think it'd show more bands that a lot of people like, rather than showing large portions of popular bands' outputs.  Can't see it being a bad thing in any way.

How?  The title could be changed to "Top 100 albums (One per band)" so people don't get quite as confused and/or angry that their favorite album by their favorite band isn't there.

I guess it would be Ok as an option on the charts page. But not the main page.

Yeah, since without mass mind control it's impossible to change the top 100 overall, so I'd settle with an option on the charts page. LOL

Well, taking Salty's suggestion, I will list only one album per band for the top 10

King Crimson - Red
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Genesis - Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Gentle Giant - Free Hand
Yes - Close to the Edge
Shakti  - Natural Elements
Magma - Kohntarkohz
Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick
Can - Ege Bamyasi
Soft Machine - Third

Who cares if your favorite band/album is not in that chart? Being prog fans, we should probably not concern ourselves with charts anyway..
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
