just recently i listened to this band - Jacula - and i was strangely impressed by their music.! they seem to put many black metal bands at miles.........

can the specialists in the genre introduce me some bands that are in the same musical mood?

Just for information, Jacula was the title of a horror-porn comic magazine of the 70s. The album cover was designed by the comic author. I was about to purchase the vinyl when it appeared but I gave up. Now I think it's a valuable object for collectors... but I never listened to any track.

Most or all of Jacula and Antonius Rex can of course be obtained from Greg Walker at Synphonic. Jacula was based on darkscapes. The ambient approach in composition revolving around the subject matter of Satanic worship. Actually there were readings derived from the Satanic bible. To locate a band or artist who combine the atmospheric style with a dark world subject is quite a task.

See if you can locate "Dead Tongues"  by Alquimia & Jose Luis Fernandex Ledesma from Wayside Music. Also Alquimia's first 2 solo titles! You might have to pay between $20.00 AND $25.00 and they might be out of print. Check to see if she has a website and look for those specific titles. They run a close race with Jacula in many aspects. Her later material is more spiritual New Age.

Some of the early Jorge Reyes titles are subject based around the practices of ancient magic. At least 4 of those titles are musically and  stylistically
like Jacula.

This band has something similar: dark metal inspired by novels.

The thing I like most about Jacula is the powerful church organ. If you particularly enjoy that yourself you may want to check out Three Monks, though it's not as dark as Jacula.

Jacula is gloom, very gloom. An Italian way, and everything is gloom.

I've found Silbernacht have a similar vibe - not a clone, but they sound like a lost soundtrack to Metropolis or something along those lines. Perhaps a little "same-y" as the CD rolls on (I had to check I didn't have the first track on repeat!!) but it's a cool background darkscape experience......

Love the Jacula from '72, but what I've heard by Antonius Rex has been more terrible than terrifying.

Check out Igor Wakhevitch's 1973 album Hathor or Docteur Faust (steam the track Materia Prima here) from 71.

Here's track 1) Hymne a Sathanael (Aimantation Des Forces) and 2) Grand Sabbat Luciferien (Régime des Arches) from the former:

Or maybe fellow italians Pierrot Lunaire (Gudrun). Not occult, but fantastic vocals and keyboardist + a genuine gloomy and mystical atmosphere.

Also try and find Egisto Macchi Voix

Some Goblin should work as well
Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
