me smiling... it happens a lot, just rarely captured on film and even here it is starting to wear-thin as I struggle to hold the cheesy pose while my good lady wife dithers around with the camera. Wink

What?

Pretty daft emoticon but sometimes it fits. That's a huggable chum right there!

And cool pictures Audun!! I wish I was there mountain climbing with you. I've always wanted to do that you know.
Great to see the beard grow back a little too, although you looked pretty suave without it

Yup!

Also, on my trip to Iceland I found the bus station in Reykjavik to be the most exciting attraction...

This last weekend I have been to my native Spain for a reunion with my good friends there. One of them has a house in the middle of nowhere in the mountains and we went to spend the weekend there, no women nor children, the soundtrack of the whole weekend consisting of Prog classics at full volume, with some concessions to Heavy Rock and Metal (even the Ramones got played when our level of alcohol in the blood permitted Embarrassed). Lots of beer and wine, good food and some walks through the beautiful mountain paths.

I'm the one on the bottom right, with the white and blue stripes T-shirt

A tasty paella was ready...

... and was really delicious. Again I'm the one on the far right of the pic...

... and the consequences for some of us

By the way those were the friends with whom we had our amateur Prog covers band. In the group pic, top left is Dani the drummer, very willing but more concerned with trying to imitate Neil-Peart style fills than with keeping the tempo LOL, next to him Santi who switched between bass and guitar and occasionally keyboard, further right Sergio who was the first I tried teaching keyboards to but he did not play for long, and Angel the singer and occasional simple accompaniments with keyboards.
On the bottom row from left to right the first two are another Dani and Ignacio who never played, then Cesc who was our first bassist in the early years, and then myself who played guitar, bass and keyboards (or tried to anyway Tongue).

Tongue It's the name of a Sigur Ros song. Don't know what it means though.

My wife's been doing this "30 Day Drawing Challenge" with some Facebook friends, where everyone draws one picture a day, using this iPad app called "Paper", which appears to be a very good program for drawing and even "painting".  I've never been able to draw much, so I've always been impressed with her talents.  Here's my favorite one she did, where the day's topic was "movie".. This is her rendering of "the Exorcist".

Here's a Love Beach throwback photo from a couple of years back (yes, that is my car):

My mother and I just a few hours after my college graduation this year (I don't think we have to play the "who is who" game here  ... OK, I'm the one with a slender body in an oversized shirt):
