Ooh you are awful......

His shows were once must see TV. Then again times were simpler then. Only three channels.

watching some old school Doctor Who - "Death to the Daleks" - on my "tv" Wink

Game of Thrones is incredible. I haven't read the books, though I've been meaning to for about four years now, but I devoured the first season a couple weekends ago. I haven't been so blown away by a show in ages.

Sort of both really - based on a the first in a series of fantasy novels, but the fantasy side is almost incidental; reads/looks like a historical novel rather than fantasy

I don't. Is it fantasy or historical?

I just finished watching 70s cult film A Boy And His Dog (although that is a movie)

  • Post-apocalyptic scenario
  • Alternate History
  • telepathic dog, good dog acting
  • Central character who is barely sympathetic
  • Cold and evil
  • funny

a bit too edgy in some areas to be made into a film today. The character is well... uh.... he has problems.

Decent-to-Good flick though!

I missed out the ending however, I didn't pick up on the joke and twist. The movie would have been better if I didn't know.
