Season 9 is still hilarious though and worth buying but it definitely shows a decay in the series.
Just give it all an hour by the concrete lake.

I've never found The Simpsons funny.

Tosh.0

I don't even care
Also anything negative/bad you can say about him..you could say it right to his face and he'd laugh, agree and make sexual advances at you.
Gotta respect the complete lack of self respect and f**k you attitude.

Shocked Never???
In their prime the show was great but as we all know it's gone downhill.
Which is gunna happen, South Park suffered from it even worse, as did Family Guy. (lol inb4 they always sucked)

I've only recently started watching South Park, so it is still funny. Family Guy and American Dad are constantly watched by me. It usually gets a chuckle out of me, rarely a hard laugh, but it's entertaining to me. *shrug*

But i enjoy most comedy shows - Tosh.O, Always Sunny, Archer, Key & Peel, Daily Show (If that counts), etc.

Actually American Dad got better IMO.
Once it became less overtly political it became funnier.
Ironic since many shows go the opposite direction.

Archer is great! I love that show.
Also King of the Hill was the rare one to not get stale. Good until the last episode, they really could've kept going. I still watch the re runs all the time. To think they dumped a brilliant series for "the cleveland show"Dead

Not to be an ass but 97% of the time that response = they don't really get it.
I used to hate it as well, until I realized it's humor is in its "wtf" and awkward nature, and is also tad subtle. It was well written unlike many cartoons. Mike Judge is mah man.

And no the worst show is Squidbillies.

Yeah that's what most say, including me at first.
It's hilarious though.

Also I never see it on TV anymore but Venture Bros was brilliant.

I agree KotH was his worst, and the Simpsons, though very clever and innovative, is just too adored.   Maybe one has to have lived that life to love it.

KotH is some more subtle, intelligent humor and that is what the proggers don't like?

Dysfunctional family? I used to love the Simpsons and I have a normal, wonderfully functioning familyLOL

Sorry but just say "not really my thing"

Having needed to live the life to enjoy a show, even for proggers, is one helluva stretchLOL

Got the DVD of the 1979 Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy series.  Well, if I thought the movie from 2011 was excellent, the series just whacks it out of the park.  Better in just so many ways...it helps, of course, that they have the luxury of time in a TV series to do justice to a complex Le Carre plot.  Also helps that it was shot back in the day which gives it a very authentic dreary look, important for this story.

I love it. Seen it twice. Same with Smiley's People LOL.
Very true to the book and an extremely dignified performance by Alec Guinness.

Haven't seen Smiley's nor read the book. Want to, now. Smile  I had originally planned to watch the series in instalments over a few days and ended up watching the whole thing over the weekend because it was so good.

Love Atkinson in this but the incredibly talented David Haig steals the show.
