didn't know--  I imagine the contrast between Falk's frumpy flusteredness and the English manner must've been very appealing to him, it provided such a sharp contrast to what he was exploring in the character which, for 1970s TV, was pretty unusual.

Deadliest Swamp Gold Storage Restoration Pawn Log Pickers on the Histscovery Channel.  Was a tough decision between that and Swamp Swamp Swamp Swamp Swamp Swampers over on the Discistory Channel.

Probably my favorite American sitcom right now.Just bought this and now have the first 4 seasons on dvd.Excellent cast,acting and writing.Plus Jim Parsons rules.Clap

The bulk of our dvd budget goes towards our beloved UK shows that no one we know has heard of.Wink Our collection is quite extensive and we have spent quite a bit of money on it.

The only American shows we have bought on dvd recently are TBBT,Dexter,Boardwalk Empire and Psych and The Tudors(technically not an American show,I know).
