1. The Gates of Delirium
2. The Revealing Science of God
3. Close to the Edge
4. Awaken
5. Starship Trooper

Jon Anderson's voice
Chris Squire's bass playing
Steve Howe's guitar work
complexity, intricacy but at the same time melodic
The whole is more than the sum of its parts

1: Close to the Edge
2: Gates of Delirium
3: Awaken
4: Heart of Sunrise
5: Roundabout
6: And You And I
7: The South Side of Sky
8: Yours Is No Disgrace
9: To Be Over
10: Into Lens

5 things for which I love Yes are
1: Jon Anderson's angelic high octave voice is superb and his verses are beautiful, optimist and spiritual
2: Chris Squire, a true master of bass guitar of whole rock era
3: Rick Wakeman is a very talented classical trained keyboardist
4: Steve Howe, most stylistically diverse guitar maestro of rock history, is influenced by classical music, jazz and country, unlike other legendary peers based on blues playing style, his solo are extraordinaire
5: Bill Bruford and Alan White are two awesome drummers, each presented a different genre

Yes's contribution and influence to progressive rock genre is massive, for are of best bands not only in genre but rock in general, because their beautiful, dreamy and sublime music is upbeat, verses are surreal and poetic.

5. Heart of the Sunrise
A blood-pumping schizoidy head-banger at times and a beautiful ballad at others.

4. And You And I (I. Cord of Life, II. Eclipse, III. The Preacher the Teacher, IV. Apocalypse)
Just an awesome, epic, acoustic ballad.

3. Starship Trooper (A. Life Seeker, B. Disillusion, C. Würm)
I love parts A and B, but everyone can agree that Würm is da best.

2. The Gates of Delirium
It took me a while for it to grow on me but when it did, it DID.

1. Close to the Edge (I. The Solid Time of Change, II. Total Mass Retain, III. I Get Up I Get Down, IV. Seasons of Man)
Is there really anything to say about this masterpiece?
