Poll's over.  The winner of R2D16 of Battle of the Prog Bands is Godspeed You! Black Emperor.  They will now move onto Round 3, and Tool is out of the tournament.  See you at the next match of Battle of the Prog Bands!
 
Nice to see GY!BE win.  Hopefully the concept of the underdog overthrowing the bigger band will continue onto the next matches (Zappa vs. Magma, Can vs. Floyd if you get my drift.)

Tool are great, if a bit overbearing at times, but Godspeed would win even if Storm and Sleep were the only two tracks they ever recorded: they're that good. 
And lo, the mighty riffage was played and it was good
