Voted for Poseidon, but McDonald and Giles is actually an excellent album. I remember discovering it along with Pete Sinfield's Still and thinking it was like two King Crimson offshoot bands.
All McDonald & Giles really needed was Fripp's guitar and it would have been like a mellow Crimson album.

The McDonald and Giles is actually good, but not enough.

McDonald & Giles left King Crimson after "In The Court of The Crimson King" and recorded their only album. 
 
Do you prefer the album King Crimson did after they left the band, or their self titled? I like "In The Wake of Poseidon" a little more...
