Cats and Guitars and Other Pets and Instruments

OK my cat Squeaky has recently started coming into the music room and messing with the ends of the three bass strings on my beat up old Yamaha classical guitar.  I'm talking about the ends where the strings are tied off at the bridge.  I didn't cut them too neat.  But rather than rubbing on them, she bites at the ends.  If I improvise something on it in her cat voice range, she really seems to like it.  

So for those of you that play or even if you just play recorded music, do you have any interesting pets/music interactions to share?

It seems like this has been brought up before but I couldn't locate it and I'm not sure if Tech Talk is the best place to do this thread...

I quit playing.  She's still in the room and now facing away from me but not messing with the guitar. 

I have a cat audience apparently.

Well, after a Google image search, our Tunces looks absolutely nothing like Toonces the driving cat.  That's memory for you.

I remember my friend's cat reacting strongly to some Jimi Hendrix, but then most things react strongly to Hendrix

When I used to have Hammond lessons, I could guarantee just as I was playing one of my homework pieces to the tutor, one of my cats would decide to join in by walking up & down the keys...

...still, helped to hide the odd bum note

Contrary to all of you, cat lovers... my dog react when I put some Alux Nahual records on the stereo. Hi likes the tom drums and the progressive parts...

Cat urine has to be one of the most vile things I've ever smelled.  

My animals go absolutely nuts when I play harmonica.  Specifically my dog, but also my cats.

If I ever would pluck a string on my guitar or play a key on the piano loudly, one of my cats would start meowing oddly and making these weird clicking noises.
