The founder of Kayak who played on many Camel albums has released a solo. Of course it's very similar to some Kayak albums but it looks that his work with Camel has left a sign on him, specially on the title track that has a slow part that sounds very Canterbury. The album features Chris Rainbow so near half of the Camel of the 80s are present.

That's off his second solo

Sounds really synth-pop to me, and I wouldn't have thought, based on that, more than Prog Related (due to his Prog relation).

It also appears that my copy is just a re.-release of Heart of the Universe.

Many thanks for letting me know. I was totally unaware of the previous titles.
I trust your opinion as I've listened to the whole album just one time and I'm so enthusiastic with everything is Camel-related that my judgement in this case can fail.

You've heard more than I.  When I said "based on that", I meant to say only based on the youtube track you linked to (which is all I've heard).  Maybe others, even based just on that track, would have a different impression.

The rest of the album is very similar at a first glance.

As long as you mean one of these Magmas, then I can't say I disapprove.

MAGMA Prog Folk Argentina
MAGMA Zeuhl France
MAGMA (GER) Krautrock Germany

But if you mean some of the other Magma's, that's another story.  The Korean Magma is not bad, the Polish one not so much.

Good choice. The debut is my particular favourite (and Wurdah Itah is another particular fave).

Have you seen this?

I'll ask the Crossover team to have a look. Some more samples (probably directly to the X-over team guys) would help Thumbs Up

It would be like a "prize to the career".

But the video posted by Logan....it should be advertised to every Zeuhl fan.
It's Zeuhl fun....
