Here's another suggestion.  Possible eclectic or prog-related.  Barak Moffitt has released material both as a solo artist and as Infinite Monopoly.  He has at least two albums I think people here would like.  The music is generally dark & mysterious with great subversive lyrics on some songs.  Awesome layered production quality too.

I hear shades of Radiohead, Bowie, Crimson, Porcupine Tree, even some Miles Davis.

Infinite Monopoly -- Product 01A (I would call this one a concept album)

Infinite Monopoly doesn't sound like progressive rock to me, but rather like vocal-lead pop-rock music a la Nick Cave or Beck (with an angelic voice instead). There ae moments when it reminds me of late, melodic Pink Floyd, but not enough for me to pass this band further on for evaluation by a prog subgenre team.

Barak Moffitt's solo stuff is much more interesting prog-wise. The first track on Myspace was pure prog, but the rest tends toward the Infinite Monopoly material. I'll ask the Crossover team for the evaluation.
