I sure am. I'm going to review it as soon as it's released (already signed a deal).

Yet we still have to wait another 4 weeks, so it will be tough time. To be honest, it's my most anticipated album out there. And that means something.

However, we (or at least I) should be cautious, because I have a feeling that it won't be as "monumental" as Blomljud, so it would be like Lamb after Selling. Still good, but not in the same way. I haven't tried samples, I don't want to spoil the experience.

Dang - how'd you get that deal? I'd love a deal like that. XD And yeah, it's highly anticipated for me too - I am also concerned about it living up to Blomljud, but your analogy doesn't work for me because I like Lamb better than Selling England. Tongue

Great thing, you used "not work for ME", not just general-ism that it doesn't work, as some rather self-arrogant people are trying to propose. OK, maybe this is way over-reacted comparison, but when taking SEBtP as better than LLDoB, you will know how I meant it. Wait a minute, you already know it, damn Wink

What about to ask them if they want to give promo copies ? What about to suggest them to use our "Review our music" board. That would be cool idea, but I will leave the details and realization of this plan for you.

By the way, how comes that I'm not in last.fm Moon Safari top listeners, when I have 8% of all scrobbles ? Weird. I used to have 10%, even 12% (maybe), but I wasn't listening them as much as I used to. But it's still extremely BIG thing to listen to this album (Blomljud) for two years, hundreds of listens and still like it. That takes solid material to survive test of time.

And Gazz ? Morild is difficult to comprehend for me. Too long to be easy to remember, but it's Symphonic and it's usually a good think. Let's see. You probably won't waste your money by buying it, as it's enjoyable album.

Yeah - Blomljud is great music Smile and for Lastfm, their Top Listeners is based on the weekly charts or maybe monthly charts, I'm not sure which but I know they set it up so that it's not always the same people but based who have listened to a band the most recently.

Also looking forward to this album.
It's funny, cause the lyrics of this band are not usually what I go for (cheesy, optimistic, cheerful - opposite of me :-) ) but somehow it works for me (not so in the case of Magic Pie for instance). And the music; as cheerful and the lyrics, if not more so; rich, harmonic, filling, charming and most of all, beautiful.

I need to get this album, what I heard upto now is excellent (the preview and the acapella version of one of the songs) the vocal harmonies are just sublime! I read somewhere that the release date is 23 of October...can anyone confirm that?

Something around this date. It's anniversary of their first album, so it's you know, nostalgia thing.

Trying to decide if I'm looking forward to this or not.  Been listening to Blomljud lately...it's so sunny I get a tan in the process.  Still, it's all rather infectious...
