Sounds cool that Trevor Horn is involved as a producer. But Anderson not being involved is not good news. Let's see if this announcement is being confirmed by the official channels.

It is called "If" & they now call themselves "Glass Hammer"!

"...The current line-up have been working on material and go into the studio to record an album on 4 Oct to be produced by Trevor Horn (as revealed in the new Classic Rock Presents... Prog)..."

This is the only source I've got.

+ a Wakeman / Anderson album is out soon.

oh please, after so many decades haven't they still noticed who clicks with who musically?
have we not gathered enough proof that by themselves only on rare occasions their solo studio efforts result in something exciting?

a yes album would be anderson, howe, rick wakeman, squire, white (or bruford).

don't waste your time with half-baked experiments. clean up whatever may be personally between you and other band members and get together and create magic!

I for one am very interested in what they will come up with... Benoit David is an extremely excellent singer, so where they will miss Andeson most is in the composition...give them a chance...keyboards never has been a big deal...Moraz was fine, as well as some others and they never had a big influence on the compositions..
To be the one who seeks so I may find .. (Metallica)

I'm quite optimistic. I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with something along the lines of Drama. Hopefully not just wishful thinking.

Same here, although it's somewhat disappointing to learn that two selections are apparent retreads ("We Can Fly From Here" and "Second Initial") that bring to mind the "new" studio material on The Ultimate Yes (an inferior version of "Australia" and the "Coming Home" portion of the 2nd movement of Dvorak's New World Symphony). Yes, I tend to agree with you (although I did like Drama but, to me, that was a different time)
In my opinion, Yes is done & the band should have retired & done solo projects.
