I was listening to those videos of K. Emerson with Marc Bonilla and it was obvious to me that with a guitar player add to the band, its sounds better then the original line up. Don't you think?

There is actually guitar on the original versio as well but this version is certainly 'smokin'.

This is quite amazing although its hard to spot Keith Emerson. I think he plays harmonica (briefly) about 2 minutes in.

My copy of the studio Keith Emerson Band Featuring Marc Bonilla had a new version of The Barbarian which sounded really really cool. If they have some live material waiting to be released I will be very interested. In the meanwhile, perhaps getting "Boys Club" live album (also with Glen Hughs) would be good enough.

The Keith Emerson with Marc Bonilla album is better than some later ELP albums (e.g. Black Moon) but doesn't approach the likes of Trilogy and BSS. Don't forget Greg Lake was a guitar player as well as a bassist.

Nice.  It's too bad they didn't include their rearrangement of "Living Sin".
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
