Which one do you prefer ?

I really love the Kayak's one, but the one from Solaris has something more IMO.
More than a poll, it's an indirect way to make peopla aware of a very good Hungarian band, something that Kayak probably don't need.

Unfortunately I never listened to any Judas Priest's album. There's not a specific reason, only I never tried them. I just have the idea that they are hard-rock or metal.

Rouge Ciel's Nostradamus l'avait prédit
Les mains, les pieds balancés
Sur tant de mers, tant de planchers,
Un marin mort,
Il dormira

Already two missing Nastradamus...Once I have enough, I'll create a new poll including all of them.
For those are suggesting "others", could you please add a short note about the band and the album, or a link to a review?

About Rouge Ciel, I've seen on PA that's just a track, not a concept album, so I won't include it in the next poll, but it's good to know in any case.

I´m joking, I´m not interesting to Judas Priest or another metal scene. Of course, I have any personal memories from my age about 16. Therefore JP´s album have came first on my mind.

I've just found this one on the web, but I have no idea of what kind of music it is:

THE HUDSON CHAMBER ENSEMBLE : Nostradamus - The music of his renaissance.

Chamber ensemble maybe ?

Nostradamus, Nostradamus
Nostradamus met zijn strakke groene broek
Die stond 'm goed! Jaa!

Nostradamus, Nostradamus
Nostradamus met zijn strakke groene broek
Die stond 'm goed! Jaa!

Z’n naam was Nostradamus

Nostradamus, Nostradamus
Nostradamus met zijn strakke groene broek
Die stond 'm goed! Jaa!

Nostradamus, Nostradamus
Nostradamus met zijn strakke groene broek
Die stond 'm goed! Jaa!

Z'n naam was Nostradamus

Nostradamus, Nostradamus
Nostradamus met zijn strakke groene broek
Die stond 'm goed! Au!

Nostradamus, Nostradamus
Nostradamus met zijn strakke groene broek
Die stond 'm goed!
Die stond 'm goed

Die stond 'm goed
strakke groene broek
Die stond 'm goed, goed, goed
strakke groene broek
Met een dikke bobbel
Ja, strakke groene broek
Dikke, dikke, dikke bobbel

it pretty much describes the life and times of Nostradamus and his involvement in everyday life.

Nikolo Kotzev's Nostradamus rock opera is perhaps even better then solaris' and Kayak's version. It's very rare though.

Solaris' "Nostradamus" is a masterpiece of symphonic prog. I drove from Ohio to Florida a couple of years ago, a good 22-hour drive. I had just gotten this CD on the recommendation of Greg Walker and popped it my car's disc player as I got on the highway.
When it ended, I let it play again. And again. All the way to the Florida border before putting something else on (and I'd brought 50+ CDs). It had been a long time since an album blew me away from start to finish.
I guess that  you can gather which way I voted.

Just what I was about to mention, as well. Featuring singers such as Jorn Lande, Göran Edman and Glenn Hughes.

The one with less strodomus.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
