FOR DIRECTIONS & FURTHER INFORMATION:

Steve Moore is an incredibly gifted synthesist & composer (and just as adept a bassist, too) whose work as one half of the duo Zombi has resulted in three albums of kinetic synth prog, but that doesn’t mean the group is easy to pigeonhole—they’re equally at home banging out a solid groove of sequencer headrush, which situates them somewhere between Ozric Tentacles (minus guitar), Klaus Schulze, and Brooklyn’s DFA crew.

On his own, Moore’s debut CD The Henge proclaimed itself a full-on contemporary synth classic that manages to meld Tangerine Dream’s Zeit, Irmin Schmidt & Bruno Spoerri’s Toy Planet and Heldon’s Allez Teia into an epic thrillride for the senses. As further proof of his nomadic status, he’s done remixes for dance acts such as Ursula 1000, and has released a 12-inch on Germany’s bastion of minimal techno, Kompakt.

This upcoming performance will not only be Moore's OTP debut but also his first solo outing as well. No doubt he’s already priming his modules for maximum OTP overdrive—set the controls for the heart of the sun!
