Protip: For maximum effectiveness of the thread, post order should have been reversed, and some more information about the band should have been included in the post with the link.

this band is generic and "disposable". I sold my copy after listening to it once.

Take his post for what it is worth.  He listens to some pretty far out their world music.  If you like what you heard on You Tube, than you should probably give the whole album a listen.  It was one of the first wave of new prog albums that I purchased when I came back to the prog side, and personally I think that it is pretty good.  But my tastes are pretty generic and disposable, so what do I know.

no, I listen to prog metal (well, less than during the heydays of prog metal) among other musical styles, but I am now very careful with this genre as there are too much cliched bands.

Sorry Lucas, my intent was not to pigeonhole your tastes or insult you, but to basically make the point that everyone has different tastes and if he likes what he is hearing than he should go with it.  i.e. the albums that you have posted in the What Are You Listening To Now? thread today, may come highly recommended from you, but that certainly doesn't mean that I would like them no matter how much you like them.

One of the very first prog albums I bought waaaaaaay back in the day.  I lost my copy about six years ago, so I appreciate the reminder.  Will have to investigate them anew.
