As with the earlier polls, only VDGG work included. Hammill solo, with Fripp, with the K Group or whichwhatever isn't here but feel free to mention it if you feel that Loops And Reels or Chicago or something of the kind is amazing.
In something of a rush so I'll try to edit this to mention all his contributions to the various albums later. |

Easily the most difficult.
Not only do I have to consider the instrumental work, and the compositions but the lyrics, which are quite profound IMO and hit me quite hard (at times). Pawn Hearts easily wins in terms of both music and compositions. Lyrically my preference is elsewhere, however, I can not deny how awesome Lemmings is in that department, and I always enjoying trying to sing along to A Plague.
Pawn Hearts will get my vote. A magnificant album, no doubt thanks to Peter above all.

Still Life, his emotional peak with VDGG. The sheer power put into tracks like "Pilgrims," "Still Life," "La Rossa" and "Child-like Faith" make this a no-brainer for me.

I find Pawn Hearts and Godbluff equally amazing. Voted Godbluff because it needs more votes (only four, including mine? That’s a shame!).

I absolutely love the 1999 version of his opera "The Fall of the House of Usher". For anyone who is curious: The whole opera can be listened to on YouTube. I will give you a link to part one, but am too lazy to give all of them; find your way from there to the other nine parts:
