I don't know if you have seen Blackadder Goes Forth, but Edmund tries to pretend to be mad by just saying "wibble".....it comes from that. I typed it because i couldn't be bothered to type the poll question.......and I was mad.

Voyage Of The Acolyte-i love it just as much, if not more, than Genesis itself

Right
I've seen some Blackadder, but not the BGF series. This is a terrible lack in my cultural knowledge, I'm well aware. But then again, I don't think Rowan Atkinson has listened to all first Genesis solo albums.

Of all of these, Voyage is the one I enjoy the most, followed by Peter Gabriel's first solo album.

Would you like some Bailey's?

I thought so too. He's even doing worse than Banks.

I voted for Peter Gabriels first. I especially like the song "Humdrum" and it's lyrics

Hackett wins this one - but I still love Peter Gabriel's debut. At the time I really appreciated the range of styles and its freshness. However, Acolyte is a prog classic for me and a clear showcase of his value to Genesis.

Peter Gabriel by a country mile. If ever there was an overrated album on PA (and PA only), it would be Acolyte.

Acolyte isn't great but it sure beats any of the others including the faux-eclectic Gabriel

2010....I think that was about when I joined PA....Aug 2010..... I can't recall at that time how I voted but for me Gabriel's first and Hackett;s first are both very good..... I might have voted for Gabriel then......always loved that quirky album by him...some unique tracks on there.
