German Zero,

Call this a hunch, you seem to be a Flower Kings fan.  Please feel free to stop over to the Flower Kings Appreciation page on here:

There are a few of us that have been at the fan page for years now, 127 pages worth of discussion (with the occasional sidetrack) and we're always looking for new fans.
I don't have an unnatural obsession with Disney Princesses, I have a five year old daughter and coping mechanisms.

The Truth Will Set You Free... first song I heard from them, so lush and musicianly. That bass intro... that epic climactic arpeggio, the "rest your mind, by the dawn of time" section... it's really an immaculate composition.

Wow - a TFK thread that none of the haters have inflitrated (yet!) - how refreshing Smile

That list of epics is simply amazing. I can't think of any other band that has the quality in depth that TFK has, Not that the length of the songs matters of course - as someone else said, the've got dozens of 10 minute plus songs of equal quality and, for that matter, under ten minutes as well.

I've spotted a few TFK fans in this thread who haven't contributed to the mammoth TFK thread so, as Roland mentioned, come and join us TFK nuts in there as well Wink

For the record, I voted for "I Am The Sun" mainly because part 2 is probably my favourite single piece of music from the past 15 years with a shiver-up-the-spine climax to rival Supper's Ready and Awaken. How blessed we are to have a band producing music of this quality to rival the 70s classics.

Here's my top 5:

1) I Am the Sun

2) The Truth Will Set You Free

3) Garden of Dreams

4) Monsters and Men

5) Stardust We Are

Amazing tracks!!!

1. I Am the Sun
2. Love Supreme
3. The Truth Will Set You Free
4. Driver's Seat

The rest either doesn't do it much for me or still need more listens.
