The RBP page still says shipping on or around Feb. 21.
There is no indication of any shipping yet.
Usually they send an email when an order goes out.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

At this point, I don't really "expect" RBP to come out until November-December 2014.

Well it would make sense, since most ZFT releases come out around then, and this whole year is the 40th anniversary of R&E, so if it came out later than that, I would be massively disappointed.

I'd have rather they never announced RBP last year until they were ready, or even that thing they tried to do in 2012 where if you paid $1000 you'd get your own master copy to distribute.

That's a shame, but something they probably should have done for awhile now.

Or you know...release the damn thing.

I did see on the boards where the suckers... errr... investors who paid $1000 for redistribution rights received a CD-R of the album, with no liner notes or artwork earlier this week.

I don't know if that's a good sign or bad sign.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

People on Zappa.com have said they received shipping notices. Maybe it's time I order RBP, along with Joe's Camouflage.

With so many answers, you'll have a difficult time choosing which album.  Let me make it really really easy.
1st...Apostrophe.  It was so good...a documentary was made with comments from just about all previous band members.
2nd...Overnight Sensation.
3rd...Shiek Yerbouti.
4th...Anything live

Now shut up and play yer guitar.

My own list of favs is currently being sketched...

Right now I'm looking for the beginning of a track where we hear a dialog like "Father ? Yes son tell me I listen" and a strange yet funny following. Does it remind anyone of a Zappa piece ?
I promote music on my homepage but also

Aragon (Changeling, otEdge)
Pulp Culture (EoRD, ItSoaP)
Tiemko
Tuvalu (live)
uSSSy (Kombucha)
Wanana-Bani Garden (+postprod?)
WytchCrypt (intros!; 6th!)

A Butthole Surfers song comes to mind (Sweet Loaf), but you're probably not referring to that.

Somehow this piece of information slipped under the news radar in Denmark.

Actually it's a good sound alike !! But my emmental brain only suggests this structure : the father only tells he listens, then the son goes on and his voice becomes weird.

After hours searching yesterday, now I doubt if it ever has existed in Zappa's recordings, or any others at all.

Thanks for Sweet Loaf !

Closest to that I can think of is The End by The Doors "Father?" "Yes son?" "I want to kill you".

Btw, this is inspired but incorrectly interpreted from the original poem Oedipus Rex by Sophocles. This version is quite dramatic but has an element of psychotic premeditation absent from the source.
