Oh well, it won't be a tie like yes & Genesis, thenLOL

Radiohead are a sublime, intelligent, progressive, and fantastic band. Unfortunately, they are not Pink Floyd.

Why do people think this is a meaningless poll? Not everyone thinks Floyd is the best band out of them all, myself included. I happen to think we're having a legit discussion.

Yes. True progressive artists don't worship past prog artists to the point of pointless emulation. They take concepts and ideas from them perhaps, but then they press on and do their own thing. They try to innovate and be original. Yes didn't sound exactly like their influences, did they? They sounded like Yes. So what if a modern prog band doesn't like Genesis that much? Are they required to?

Anyhow...I agree with WalterDigs(Looney)Tunes......The Floyd easily here, I don't care for any of the others, I honestly can say I don't think I have heard any of their music, not on purpose.
