I'd like to introduce "Omenopus". We're a cyber-band (never all knowingly in the same place at the same time!) playing a mixture of electronic/industrial/metal/progressive/space-rock. Yes, that's an awful lot of genres, but have a listen and make up your own minds. . .
Official website: www.omenopus.com
Nationality: core members are British, but we are collaborating with musicians from around the globe (the beauty of the Internet!).
Releases: we have a FREE 4-track sampler CD out called "Portents". To order a copy, visit our web site. Our self-financed debut album "Time Flies" will be released very soon on our own Monty Maggot label.
More info on the web site.

There's now a "trailer" video with snippets of the tunes playable at www.omenopus.com

On this forum? Not sure, as I'm new to Progarchives myself.
Perhaps you could post them here in this thread for now, and if there's a more appropriate place one of the moderators will help us out.

Looking forward to reading your reviews!

Or attach them to a message to me, and I'll see if Lee will put them on the Omenopus site!

Here's another shameless plug: Lee is putting the finishing touches to a compilation album that is going out under the Omenopus banner. It's called "Allies & Clansmen", and features contributions from artists who have connections to Omenopus (for example, 1912). It's an eclectic and interesting mix of styles. Many tracks are exclusive to this CD.
See www.omenopus.com for a full artist and track list.

Allies & Clansmen is officially released on 4th April. I got my copy last night. It's damn good!
There's so much good stuff on the album  - and so many different styles and that it's difficult to pick out favourites, but right now the Omnia Opera track "Second Skin" is my personal favourite. Lovers of Space Rock will particularly enjoy this perfect slice of sonic excellence.
At the other end of the scale there are some beautiful mellow moments such as Chumley Warner Bros. "Fingers Ten", Sarah Panton's exquisite jewel-like miniature "On The Radio" and Lee Potts's tiny closer "Instincts", which stylistically goes right back to the roots of the Omenopus.

Thanks for adding the band.
Apologies for my *even later* reply!
I haven't been on ProgArchives (or any other internet forum, for that matter) for quite a while. Mostly because of becoming a parent! It's taken me a while to find my login details again.
