I never used to care for them but after repeated listenings of Pawn Harts,Godbluff,H to HE and Still Life something finally "clicked" for me so I like them quite a bit now.

Here to stay until Joe Cool raises it for a 2nd time...

Why is it so hard to find their stuff if no one likes them? I look on Borders.com and all their good albums are on backorder.

they're OK...but I really don't like Hammil's voice....so I voted the Overrated option
 
I still listen to them every once in a while to see if it will click....but not yet!

The band is overrated by people other than yourself because you don't like Hammill's voice? Interesting.

By the way, do you like his vocals, at least in part, any of the tracks? I can appreciate that some would he think he goes over-the-top with his vocals, but he often sings in a more subdued way.

For example: "Refugees" and "House with No Door"? (not that those SHOULD appeal).





Or is it all of his vocals that you dislike? I could see his more subdued singing not appealing to some either.  He's a versatile vocalist, I think, and I appreciate the contrast he employs.

My favourite band, Hammill is God and my favorit singer, since i discovered em on this page, they been my absolut favorit band from the first time i heard em i knew i hade found something special, and i dont think that will ever change. Other bands comes and goes but vdgg always stayes and never tiers me.

Wasn't too fond of them at first, but after seeing this video they did for "Darkness (11/11)", I've been a fan since.
