I was just listening to Three Friends yesterday. Can't believe it would actually be ahead of Free Hand. Three Friends, by GG standards, is actually a bit stagnant coming after the incredible Acquiring the Taste. Free Hand, on the other hand , is in class by itself, at a level even they couldn't touch before or after.

I have heard maybe two or three tracks of Three Friends, so in an attempt to be honest I won't vote, although Free Hand is one of my favourite GG albums. |
Feel free to vote for anything you want......I make no demands. |
OK, I have heard Three Friends yesterday evening. The choice is a bit harder than I would expect: the part of Schooldays from 3-6 minutes is pure genius and this album has no real weak spots, but it is still too hard for me to vote against the album that contains His Last Voyage, On Reflection or Talybont, so I give Free Hand the lead.

Once again the lower seed wins. Three Friends it is. The final beckons.
