I thought that was cool too.

Far from being ignored, Jethro Tull are actually on the list of the biggest selling bands of all time, having sold 60 million records worldwide.

Good looking on the collages though Darksideof :)

WOW I am in awe of this! The colours are as good as you have ever done, those rich browns and earthy yellows work so well together, very Tull like - a heritage of Tull. The Passion Play stage and Benefit set  work well, the ballet dancer, card board standees, animals,  and broadsword are truly theatrical and make sense together somehow. The buildings in the backdrop create a night scene with Tull watching thru binocs over it. Those purple pink and oranges juxtapose well together too. You have been reverent to past members of the band, tho Anderson dominates as one would expect. The War Child logo stands out considerably, as does the shot of Barre on guitar. Many eras are captured in true homage to the master flautist. Aqualung is there, as are the Heavy Horses and even Under Wraps on the wall. It is a masterful collage. I may well transfer it straight to my wallpaper. ClapClapClapClapClap

By the way, that is nice and congrats on not having your one for the masthead taken down.  I still like it even though I liked one of your alternates better.
thanks which one is that?

I think I already mentioned it in the thread on it.  I don't know it by name, if it actually has one.  It was more spacey and didn't seem to get too specific with images from artist's album covers.  Big smile

And of course I would be remiss if I didn't pass on congrats for your new child.

Well I give names to most of my collages. maybe it was the Canterbury one.
thank you Embarrassed More bills but children bring priceless happiness.

Thanks again Scott!.
Yeah I deeply thought of how the stage should look and how all the personage from Tull albums should work all together as one piece. thanks !

Not much of a Tull fan (only heard one of their albums ) but I could pick most of them out here, and I love how the stage melds in to the background. Kinda looks nearly 3D! Awesome work friend [:Y:}

Yeah, Tull's first 12 albums are all good.
Remaining 8 are worthwhile but a bit hit and miss except for 1995's excellent Roots To Branches.

Agree.
I saw Tull on that tour for Roots and Branches and it was quiet awesome. I think it was 1997 my second time I was Tull. too band Ian voice had changed so much.

I think they should go instrumental. Ian's flute playing has gotten better and better though his singing has deteriorated. He already plays a lot of vocal parts on the flute rather than singing them and it sounds great. The audience can sing along if they want the words anyway ;)

Here here! I'm actually still waiting for a new pure instrumental album. I know Ian's been experimenting some new tracks on this tour, but I didn't get the chance to listen to any yet.

As for Abel, bravo yet again! Clap My favourite detail is that image of Ian on the bottom left corner, just above him playing the soprano sax. Really glad you included that one.
Also, congratz on your new family member.Hug All the best to you.Big smile

Good, but I would have put Ian rubbing his hands in front of the fire in the center of the collage, since 'songs from the woods' is the epitome of their folk prog.

And this bottle is missing (the first CD of this double album is probably the best I ever heard from JT, even if it has a lot of what can be heard on 'Passion Play' and 'War child').

Chateau Disaster is the best "cutting room floor sweepings" disc I've ever heard. Anderson is mad the amount of excellent material he's left off albums.

yeah too bad!!! His playing is quiet fantastic. The aqualung live album is quiet amazing but his singing leave you wishing it i was the young(70's) Ian that sang. I think  if Ian gets some help form another singer or female back ups like David Gilmour or Roger Waters his music would sound great. The dudes that sings floyd tunes live do a real good job. wishful thinking.Confused
