Eidolon progressive metal

Eidolon are thrash metal band (no longer together) mostly that i have always found to be a progressive metal outfit beyond thrash. I got into them via thrash band megadeth who's drummer and ex guitarist are former members of Eidolon.

They remind me of Opeth at times but not quite as complex they do have some epic length songs. 

Not sure whether other progarchivers would consider them 'progressive' enough but i think anybody into prog metal should definitely check them out.
